| Once I fell back in love with my Northwest, tree-hugging, granola-eating self, I asked myself why I really cared about our environment. It’s because I’m in love with it. When I’m swimming in the ocean, I’m lost in another world. When I’m hiking in the forest, I’m at peace. I’m in love with wilderness because it’s a part of me. I enjoy the wind on my face.
